On behalf of the GEO 2012 Executive Committee, it gives me a great pleasure to invite you to join us in Bahrain for the 10th Middle East Geosciences Conference and Exhibition.

Over the last two decades, GEO has established itself as the premier forum for presenting and learning about best practices, new developments and applications in geosciences in the Middle East region. The theme of the 2012 conference, “Shaping the Future of Geoscience in the Middle East”, focuses on the current challenges facing hydrocarbon exploration and production with emphasis on future technology and opportunities. The conference also aims to highlight the increased environmental challenges in the region by sharing best practices in exploring and producing hydrocarbons in the most environmentally responsible manner.
