Exhibition registration

Entry to the exhibition only is free of charge. Advance registration for GEO 2012 has now closed. To register for exhibitor, contractor, visitor and press badges please register onsite at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre during these times.

Conference registration

All conference registrations must be accompanied by full payment of delegate fees:

The conference registration fee includes:

  • Admission to all conference oral and poster sessions
  • Onsite conference and exhibition programme

  • Refreshments at tea and coffee breaks
  • Free admission to the exhibition
  • Conference delegate bag

Faculty & student registration

Registration for university faculty and students is complimentary, and includes admission to all technical sessions, the exhibition and coffee breaks only. Faculty and students are required to provide valid proof of ID upon collection of badges at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Payment details

Registration fees are payable in US Dollars. Only MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express and Visa will be accepted as payment of registration fees.

Cancellation policy

All conference registration cancellations or changes must be received in writing at Arabian Exhibition Management’s office by 25 February 2012. All conference registration cancellations will be charged a fee of US$ 100 (BD 38) per delegate. Refunds, less cancellation charges, will be made until 25 February 2012, after which date no refunds will be made. No refunds will be made if a delegate fails to attend.

Badge pickup and conference materials

Badges and conference materials may be collected at the registration desks during registration opening hours.

Conference proceedings

The abstract for each paper presented at the conference is published in the conference proceedings in electronic format. A copy of the conference proceedings is included in the full conference registration fee. Proceedings can be collected at the registration desks during registration opening hours. Additional copies can be purchased at a cost of US$ 150 (BD 57).

Lunches

Buffet lunches will be served on Monday 5, Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 March at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Lunch tickets for all 3 days are included in the full conference registration fee. Additional lunch tickets cost US$ 50 and can be purchased in advance online or at the registration desks.

Conference gala dinner

A conference gala dinner for delegates will be held on Sunday 4 March at 1930 hours immediately following the opening ceremony and plenary session. Dinner invitations are included in the full conference registration fee.

Entry conditions

GEO 2012 is open only to professionals involved in the petroleum industry. Children under the age of 16 will not be admitted.
